Based on your child’s intended course of study, academic performance and personal preferences, we will put forth a list of candidate schools. Some areas we will explore are:
• Public or Private…Large or Small…Urban, Rural, Suburban
• Affordability…your Financial Contribution
• Rigor of Curriculum
• Campus Life…Greek System…Sports
Your child’s slate should have:
1-3 “stretch”, 3-7 “strong match” and 1-2 “fallback” schools.
Stretch schools are where they meet only the minimum GPA and SAT/ACT of admitted students. A strong Brand could help differentiate them for acceptance
Strong match schools are where their GPA and SAT/ACT fall within the middle 50% percentile of admitted students. A strong Brand could help earn scholarships
Fallback schools where their GPA and ACT/SAT exceed the 75th percentile of admitted students. Fallback schools will typically offer substantial financial incentives to attend
It is important that you set realistic expectations and we will help you do this
